Lessons Worth Re-Learning

This is my journey that the LORD Jesus Christ has taken me on in my life. So don't be surprised, this is a Christian site written by a Christian. Most of us have lived our Christian lives such that if we bloomed where we were planted, we'd be mushrooms in a cave! If you would like to subscribe to this blog, please send me an e-mail.

I am just like everyone else: I make it one day at a time with a little bit of humor. The Word of God is a fire in my heart that burns all the way down to my bones and I cannot hold it back. Jeremiah 20:9

Merry Christmas !!!!

As I write this, I am sitting in a large mall. The mall has decorated somewhat, albeit, sparsly. They finally started playing Christmas music over the PA yesterday because they were getting complaints from the public. Most of the stores in the mall have not even decorated. People say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". Any reference to Jesus' birth is frowned upon.

It is clear that commercialism and materialism is pushing it's ugly head to replace the celebration of the birth and appearance of our Dear LORD and Savior, Jesus the Christ. I'm not going to lie, this last year has been very trying. Our finances are bad and sales are not picking up. I'm tired of satan's constant attacks. I'm tired of being a slave to our bills. I'm tired of losing my joy because of worry. And yet as I go over my blogs for the last year, it is obvious that God is still with me! I love Him more each day.

I was going over all my blogs and it dawned on me, WHY AM I NOT READING MY OWN BOOK?! I read the introduction, and God reminded me why He gave me the book, to help me when I get depressed. He did it to help me then and every time I need it. Lessons Worth Re- Learning. God is good, ALL THE TIME.!!!!!

From now on, I will start each day with "Praise to the LORD! His mercies are new every morning!". And every night "Praise to the LORD for He is good. His mercies are everlasting!" And I will say "Merry Christmas" to all my customers.

Remember the Reason for the season, folks. Jesus was born, God came to Tabernacle with us. Never trivialize His mercy or His grace.

Have a Very Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!

Linda;

Hello. It is true that satan and his followers are doing their dead level best to take Jesus Christ out of our daily lives. The Bible tells us that this would happen. The true Christians will be persecuted. we will be thrown into prison, and some will be killed for His names sake.

Like in the book of Romans chapter one talks about homosexuality, talks about fornication, wickedness, deceit, haters of God, ect. The Lord never said that this life would be easy. This is just one chapter of what Christians shall have to endure in order to fulfill prophecies that were prophesied by the prophets.

It can be a bit depressing. However, what did Christ go through to save the world from our sins. I cannot even imagine what it must have been like. Also others, Martyrs which endured much pain and and sufferings for Jesus Christ names sake.

These things are already happening even as I speak. Christians throughout the world are being subjected to horrible things even death by torture. I don't want to seem negative, but we must be ready, we must stand strong in the Faith, believing that if God brought us to it, He will definitely bring us through it.

Linda, I have come to a road block with my writings, when I deleted my blog, I deleted all my writing as well. I am letting God lead me in what ever direction He wants me to go. We as Christians need God's direction, His guidance in everything that we do.

Keep up your writing. People need to know that their are other like minded people in the world today.

Later;
Johnnie
