I really am trying to get used to this blogger thing. What do I say, what should I not say? Just how personal do I want to be?
I am sorry I haven't had the time to post any blogs for the last month. At least, I'm doing better than I did last year. You see, for 3 months out of the year I am doing State Fairs with one of my husband's and my businesses, an amusement ride simulator. When I can figure out how to put pictures on my site, I will. It really is an interesting business that we have been doing for 21 years.
Now, I can hear it now, I've heard it before and that is why I hesitate to tell you too much about myself. "She's a carny!" (carnival worker for short)
No, I'm not.
We own our own simulator, never have set up with a carnival, never will, never will work for one. I have all my own teeth, they are fairly straight, and not broken and yellow. Not everyone who works at State Fairs are 'carnies'. Most of the booths you see at Fairs are run by Moms and Pops who own their own businesses and quite frankly, make a lot of money at Fairs. Usually enough to take it fairly easy the rest of the year. We used to make a lot more money than the last few years which is why I started a business of my own. I make beautiful mirrored vanity license plates for the front of vehicles with a laser machine.
Again, I hope to be able to put a few pictures on my blog. In the mean time, you can visit my web site: www.laserengravingonline.com .
Anyway, we just got home from doing the fairs and I thought I'd take a few to say "Hello!" and will post again in a couple of days. There is a lot that went on this year, a few people I was able to minister to and some I couldn't. A special tribute to Yvonne Jones (I hope I spelled your name correctly!) for ministering to me. I got to meet several new friends and touch base with a few old friends. All in all, it was a good year.
